WHAT DOES 5ATM AND 10ATM MEAN?
All Arkipelag collection watches are 10ATM waterproof and all Nord collection watches are classed as water-resistant according to the standard 5ATM. This corresponded to the water pressure at 100 meters depth for the Arkipelag collection and 50 meters depth for the Nord collection. This means that they are suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashing water / rain, and can be exposed to direct water contact. However, this is not recommended as some wristbands do not tolerate water, for example our genuine leather wristbands.
HOW LONG IS THE BATTERY LIFE?
The Nord collection watches has an expected battery life up to ten years depending on external conditions such as temperature and humidity. The battery is a CR1616 silver oxide cell battery (standard button cell). Ten years is double the time of other watches in the same price range this thanks to the excellent battery consumption of our Swiss Ronda movements.
The Nord collection watches also have a low power consumption thanks to a Swiss Ronda movement, the battery life is estimated to be up to three years.
If your watch is new and the watch movement is not functioning, try setting the time to 12:00 sharp and press the crown all the way in to the case. Wait 10 minutes and check if the minute hand has moved.
